High level virtual dialogue – Feeding Africa: Leadership to Scale up Successful Innovation

The Africa Development Bank (AfDB), IFAD, African Union, CGIAR and the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa will convene a dialogue on, “Feeding Africa: leadership to scale up successful innovation” which aims to bring all stakeholders together to deliberate on effective ways of strengthening the food system which was worsened by the covid 19 pandemic, locust invasion in East and Southern Africa and the existing impact of climate change.

This high-level dialogue will identify ways to expand activities, financing and partnerships to further leverage technology and innovation for transformation of agriculture in Africa. The outcome of the meeting will be shared at the Food Systems Summit in October 2021.
