The Vice-President and the Secretary General held discussions on potential areas of collaboration between the two organizations. The Secretary General acknowledged the support provided by the Bank to the Secretariat during Dr. Bassary Toure’s tenure as AFRACA Chairman, as well as the Bank’s significant contributions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The Vice-President emphasized the alignment between the Bank’s objectives and those of AFRACA. Both parties also explored the Bank’s potential support and active involvement in the upcoming 8th World Congress on Rural and Agricultural Finance, scheduled to take place from October 27–31, 2025, in Mombasa, Kenya.
