African Bankers Awards

The African Banker Awards is an annual event  held during annual meetings of the African Development Bank (AfDB) that aims to celebrate and showcase best practices by African bankers in terms of driving the Continent’s growth and creating new economic opportunities for citizens and the society in general.

The judging committee will pay keen attention to:

1. Financial Inclusion
2. Access to credit and to institutions that are leading the way in terms of women empowerment through lending to women-led businesses
3.  The number of women in positions of seniority within their institutions.
