Agriculture Stakeholder Convening & Advocacy Platform Launch

Congratulations to our member GIRSAL for the launch of its public-private partnership platform that aims to boost efforts towards agricultural transformation in Ghana and promote continued engagements amongst different stakeholders,

Some of the challenges facing the sector include:

• Policy incoherence and multiplication of efforts impacting productivity and sector competitiveness
• Weak institutional enforcement of standards and regulations in the agricultural sector
• Low competitiveness and market integration into domestic and international markets
• Lack of a platform to sustain dialogue among all stakeholders and address bottlenecks plaguing the sector
