The African Rural and Agricultural Credit Association (AFRACA) will convene its 21 st General Assembly, virtually from 24 th to 25 th February 2021 at 9.00 am GMT. Traditionally, AFRACA’s General Assembly is held biannually and brings together all member institutions and key industry partners across Africa.

The first day of the Assembly is designed as a Technical session in which AFRACA member- institutions will deliberate and share insights for a post – COVID-19 recovery period and Rural Finance impact indicators. In-house matters of the Association will be discussed on the second day, 25 th February 2021. The session will be presided by the outgoing AFRACA Chairman, Mr. Moustapha BEN BARKA- Vice President, West African Development Bank (BOAD) who will give an update on Secretariat activities during the last two years and subsequently launch AFRACA’s new Strategic Plan (2021-2025).

In line with the AFRACA Constitution, confirmation of Vice Chairperson as Chair, election of Vice Chairperson and Sub-regional Chairpersons will take place during the General Assembly. We invite all AFRACA members to take part in the election process.
