AFRACA’s maiden impact report presented during the 22nd General Assembly established a baseline whose primary objective was to put in place a framework for tracking the progress of AFRACA and its network of members over time. During the Assembly, members sanctioned the AFRACA Impact task force (AITF) to build on the resolutions towards a more robust framework.

On March 21, 2024, AITF convened a critical meeting at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies in Nairobi. This meeting marked a pivotal step forward in the second phase of AFRACA’s Impact Measurement and Monitoring (IMM) Framework. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Thomas Essel, AFRACA Secretary General, and included notable participants such as Dr. Jesimen T. Chipika, Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe , Mr. Byarugaba Richard, Executive Director Finance of the Bank of Uganda, Mr. Dennis Mulongo from Agriculture Finance Corporation and other key stakeholders from AFRACA member institutions.
